This very happy face is because at this moment, for the first time, Dayton wrote his name all by himself without the support of his name card. As you can see he was very proud of his achievement. I have noticed lately that Dayton has shown much more interest in forming letters and creating words using the classroom whiteboards.
The key competency that he is displaying during these moments is "using language, symbols and texts".
